It can be trimmed with a cutter or sharp knife. Once the underlay is laid out all joints must be taped. If laying over cement screed, the joints should be sealed with a waterproof tape such as duck tape. We also recommend using a moisture barrier (e.g. 1000 gauge polythene) beneath the underlay for additional moisture protection. Extend the moisture barrier up the walls behind the skirting, overlap any joints by 300mm (12”) and tape with a waterproof tape.
