Throughbolts M10 x 65mm Zinc Plated – Box of 50

M10 x 65mm throughbolts, bright zinc plated, in a trade box of 50. A torque-controlled expansion anchor for fixing straight through the fixture into solid concrete – drill, tap through and tighten the nut, and the expansion clip grips the hole for a strong, permanent fixing.

Each bolt comes complete with a hex full nut and washer, and the chamfered end protects the thread while it is driven home. Ideal for steelwork, racking, handrails, machinery and heavy brackets.

FAQs

What size hole do I drill for an M10 throughbolt?

Drill a 10mm hole straight through the fixture into the concrete, to a minimum depth of 50mm. Clean the hole out before inserting the bolt.

How tight should I torque it?

The recommended tightening torque at M10 is 30 Nm. If no torque wrench is available, tighten the nut 3 to 4 full turns from finger tight.

Can I use throughbolts in brick or block?

Throughbolts are designed for solid concrete. For brick, block or weaker masonry use a shield anchor or a chemical anchor.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?

These are bright zinc plated for internal, dry conditions. For external or damp locations use a galvanised or stainless steel anchor.
