6.7 x 150mm wafer head timber frame and landscaping screws with a green organic exterior coating, in a trade box of 50. A faster, stronger alternative to coach screws and bolts for sleepers, decking frames, pergolas, raised beds and structural timber – they drive straight in with an impact driver, usually with no pilot hole.

The deep 50° single thread pulls joints tight, the 25° sharp point with a single slash starts quickly and reduces splitting, and the low-profile wafer head sits almost flush while spreading the load over a wide area.

In most softwoods and treated timber, no – the slash point drives straight in. Pre-drill dense hardwoods or when fixing close to the end of a board.

Can they replace coach screws?

Yes. They are designed as a faster alternative to coach screws and bolts for timber-to-timber joints – no pilot hole, no washer and a single drive with an impact driver.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The green organic exterior coating carries a corrosion rating of 3 (urban and industrial areas with a low salt atmosphere), making them suitable for garden and landscaping work. For coastal sites, consider stainless steel.

What bit do I need?

Wafer head screws use a TX30 drive – a TX30 bit is included in every box.
