No – hardened masonry nails are driven straight into brick, block or mortar with a club hammer.

Is it safe to hammer hardened nails?

Always wear safety glasses – hardened nails can snap if struck at an angle.

Can they go into concrete?

They suit block, brick and mortar. For dense concrete, use hammer fixings or concrete screws.
