Galvanised Clipped Head Framing Nails 3.1 x 90mm Smooth Shank – Box of 2,200 (Nails Only)

Trade-quality galvanised clipped head framing nails, 3.1 x 90mm with a smooth shank, in a box of 2,200 – nails only, for when you already have fuel cells or use a cordless nailer.

Built for internal studwork, joists, rafters, noggins, floor and roof framing and general first-fix carpentry. The high-quality paper collation cuts down on jams, the diamond point drives cleanly into softwood, and the clipped head packs more nails onto every strip so you spend less time reloading.

The smooth shank drives fast with low resistance – the standard choice for studwork and general framing.

Frequently asked questions

Will these fit my nail gun?
They suit most 34° paper-collated clipped-head first-fix nailers – gas and cordless – such as the Paslode IM350+/IM360Ci and HiKOKI NR90GC2. Always check your nailer’s manual for the collation angle and length range.

Can I use them outside?
FirmaGalv is a light electro-galvanised coating rated Service Class 1, so it’s best for internal or protected framing. For exposed or damp conditions go for hot-dip galvanised or stainless.

Ring shank or smooth shank?
Ring shank grips harder and resists pull-out – best for floors, decking frames and sheathing. Smooth shank drives faster and is the go-to for studwork and general framing.

Do I need fuel cells?
Gas framing nailers need a framing fuel cell for every 1,100 nails or so. Pick up a twin pack in our Nail Gun Fuel Cells range, or buy the with-gas version of this pack.
